Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister renewed today the
stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on terrorism in all its forms.
In a statement to reporters at the end of his visit to Amman
this afternoon, he said this stance is in line with the Arab and Muslim nation's
principles which are against terrorism and harming civilians.
”The Kingdom condemns terrorism against which it has taken
measures long before the current international movement in this regard,” Prince
”Combating terrorism requires genuine efforts by all countries
and this is what we hope from them. The Arab stance is against terrorism and is
with the international effort to combat it,” Prince Saud said.
Responding to a question, Prince Saud said: “Israeli
aggression, together with the failure to find a solution to the Palestinian
issue, are factors that have been exploited by the phenomenon of terrorism.”
He emphasized that the justifications provided by the
terrorists serve neither Arabs, Muslims, nor do they benefit the Palestinian
issue, because their actions simply incite the world against our causes.
”We have a duty and responsibility towards our people,
religion and countries, which has been stressed by all Arab countries with which
the Kingdom had undertaken consultations,” he noted.
