Anwar Al-Jabarti, the Director General of Riyadh-based King Faisal
Specialist Hospital and the Medical Research Centre, has underscored
the importance of the Conference on Investment in Arab Health
Services, which is now in progress in London.
In a statement to the Saudi Press
Agency here, Prof. Al-Jabarti said: “The conference will provide a
good opportunity for participants to benefit from the experience of
the other countries in the field of promotion of health services.”
”In addition, the conference will
provide a platform to present the experience of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia in this respect,” Prof. Al-Jabarti added.
Prof. Al-Jabarti said the Saudi
Government has been organizing training programs for a number of
physicians, nurses and technicians in various medical spheres.
”It has built several hospitals
which are equipped with sophisticated medical equipment. These
hospitals are providing excellent medical services,” he added.
Saudi health infrastructure highlighted
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
has the most advanced health infrastructure anywhere in the Arab world
and developing countries, asserted a Saudi health official today.
”This had been achieved through the support and care given by the
Saudi Government to the constant development of the health service
sector”, director of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Medical
Research Centre in the Kingdom Dr. Anwar Jabarti said.
Dr. Jabarti was speaking before a
large number of Arab and foreign experts attending a working session
held today as part of the activities of the Conference on Investments
in Arab Health which was opened here earlier today.
