Contract awarded for
SR150m hotel
JEDDAH, 27 October — Muhammad Hersani’s Architectural Office has won the
contract for the design and administration of the SR150 million Royal Mansur
Hotel in Jeddah after beating off stiff competition from three international
companies. The 16-story hotel with 250 rooms, suites and halls will be at a
prime location in the city close to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, said Muhammad Harsani. He has designed several hotels in Jeddah,
Makkah and Madinah before.

IT WILL ALSO DISPLAY CHEMICAL MATERIALS PERTAINING TO INSECTICIDES,
VETERINARY MEDICINES, MOISTURE CONTROL EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES FOR GREEN
HOUSES.

Shell Refinery (SASREF) exports reach 200 million
tons.
Dammam, 17th October 2001-
The total volume of export from the Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery (SASREF),
since its commissioning in 1985, has reached 200 million tons. An official
of the refinery told Arab news today that the refinery’s major exports,
which are recognized for their high quality, include kerosene, naphtha,
gasoline and heavy fuel Oil.
