Ministry releases list of the injured during Hajj
Jeddah,9th March 2001

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that all except 13 of the 179 pilgrims injured in Monday’s Jamrat stampede had left hospital.

The pilgrims still in hospital are:

 Abdul Ghani Abdul Jabbar, Abubakar Bootty (all Indians), Parveen Alam, Saeed Muslihuddin Abdul Khaliq (Bangladeshis), Ali Shibr, Yousuf Baki, Fatma Ahmad (Turks), Jaber Muhammad Khan (Afghan), Jaloul Shaheema (Algerian), Fatma Tamie (Somali), Sajida Perven (Pakistani), Mujahed Kallab (Indonesian) and Salanio Younus (Nigerian).

The ministry also released the names of the injured discharged from hospital. Following is a partial list: Muhammad Hussein, Hamda Hamdain, Seniya Shaian Hadi, Qamara Abdullah, Ali Humaid Al-Harbi, Fouzia Yousuf Zamzam and Arimat Masoudi (all Saudis);

Anwar Beebi, Aysha Ibrahim, Muhammad Omar, Jameela Awwal, Rozi Gul, Razna Begum, Abdul Bari Khan, Sheikh Jabbar, Sabu Khan, Amina Abdullah, Rahim Khan Noor, Muhammad Saleem Uleem, Muhammad Abdushukoor, Muhammad Anwar Khan, Ghafran Eidan, Abdul Rasheed, Khadranullah, Shamir-ul-Rahman, Muhammad Ayub Amir, Arshad Begum, Sajida Perven, Fikriya Uzer Salam and Shams-ul-Rahman Taleb (Paksitanis);
