The Saudi Telecommunications
Company's total revenue last year exceeded SR14 billion, al-Watan
newspaper has reported, quoting Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency sources.
The STC, which is in its second year,
has provided 2.9 million land telephone lines, an increase of 731,000
lines from the previous year.
The STC granted permits to several
private companies to offer pre-paid telephone service.
