   The Commerce Ministry has fixed rental rates of hotel rooms and furnished apartments in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah, according to a source at the ministry. The maximum rates in the two holy cities should be:

From SR352 ~($94)to SR400~($107) for the first class.

From SR225 ~($60)to SR300~($80) for the second class.

From SR175 ~($47)to SR200~($54) for the third class.

The maximum rates in Jeddah:

From SR250 ~($67)to SR300~($80) for the first class.

From SR145 ~($39)to SR200~($54) for the second class.

From SR90  ~($24)to SR125~($33) for the third class units.

The tariffs have to be displayed in front of Umrah establishments so that the pilgrims know the rates before they check into the hotels.
