Arabia and Egypt are exploring prospects of setting up joint medical
projects in their bid to achieve greater integration in the sector,
Health Minister Osama Shubokshi said.

explore the possibility of opening up Egyptian market for Saudi
medical and pharmaceutical products.
Shubokshi is in
Cairo heading the Kingdom’s delegation to the Arab health
ministers’ conference at the Arab League headquarters today. The
meeting will focus on combating smoking and the outbreak of diseases
such as foot-and-mouth.
Minister Ismail Salam underscored the strong relations between the two
countries. “The visit of Shubokshi is an opportunity to further
strengthen our cooperation,” he added.
Salam said Saudi
Arabia and Egypt could jointly serve as a major partner for Arab
countries in the health and medical sector.

Arabia’s candidate, Dr. Yaaqub ibn Yousuf Al-Mazroue, for World
