Tornado warplane belonging to the Royal Air Force crashed on Tuesday
evening in the southern part of the Kingdom during a night training
exercise, but the pilot and co-pilot ejected safely from the
British-made plane, the Defense Ministry said. A ministry statement
carried by Saudi Press Agency cited technical failure as the cause for
the crash.
