A number of
Royal Decrees were issued here today. The following is the full text
of the decrees:
After a review of article number 58 of the Basic Ruling System,
under Royal Decree No. A/90, dated 27/8/1412 AH and after a review of
the system of Ministers and Deputy Ministers and all officials at the
excellent grade, under Royal Decree No. M/10, dated 18/3/1391 AH and
in reference to Royal Decree No. A/14, dated 3/3/1414 AH, the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz ordered to
extend the tenure of following officials at the grade of Minister for
a period of four years, effective from 3/3/1422 AH:
1- Prince Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Deputy Minister
of Defense and Aviation.
2- Prince Badr bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Deputy Commander of the
National Guard.
3- Prince Mamdouh bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Chief of the
Strategic Studies Bureau.
4- Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Deputy Interior
Minister.
5- Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Chief of the
General Intelligence.
6- Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Saud, the Assistant
Minister of Defense and Aviation for Civil Aviation Affairs.
7- Sheikh Mohammad bin Ibrahim bin Jubair, Chairman of the Shoura
(Consultative) Council.
8- Abdul Aziz bin Abdulmohsin Al-Tuweijiri, the Assistant Deputy
Commander of the National Guard.
9- Hamad bin Saud Al-Sayyari, the Governor of the Saudi Arabian
Monetary Agency (SAMA).

Under these decrees, the tenure of Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammad
Al-Luhaidan, the Chief of the Higher Judicial Council, who is on a
grade of the Minister, has been extended for a period of four years,
effective from 3/3/1422 AH.
Under these decrees, the tenure of the following officials at the
excellent grade, who are members of the Higher Ulema (Islamic
scholars) body, have been extended for a period of four years,
effective from 3/3/1422 AH. They are as follows:
1- Dr Sheikh Saleh Fauzan Al-Fauzan.
2- Dr Sheikh Abdulwahab bin Ibrahim Abu Suleiman.
3- Dr Sheikh Bakr bin Abdullah Abu Zaid.

article No. 10 of the System of Shoura Council under Royal Decree No.
A/91 dated 27/ 8/ 1412 AH and Royal Decree No A/62 dated 1/3/1418 AH ,
the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz
ordered amendment of the preface of article three to read as follows:
The Shoura Council comprises a chairman and 120 members.
The King also ordered the appointment of Bakri bin Salih Shatta as
Deputy Chairman of the Shoura Council at the rank of Minister.
The new Shoura Council will be comprising the following members for
four years according to the hijra calendar, effective from the end of
the current Council's term of office, the decree said.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim bin Jubair was re-appointed as Chairman
of the Council, according to the decree. The members are:
