Governor Prince Muqrin has announced the founding of a cooperative
society for the Kingdom’s date producers and manufacturers with an
initial capitalization of SR 1 million. The society aims to promote
date industry and market its products both locally and
internationally. It will also address overcoming the difficulties
facing the industry and the obstacles created by various economic

that the Kingdom has become the largest producer of dates thanks to
the unlimited support extended by the Kingdom’s rulers.
