MINING REGULATIONS

In case of industries using mineral resources including quarry materials, and planning to extract their own raw materials, necessary concessions (excluding those for petroleum, natural gas, pearls, coral, and radio-active materials) must be obtained under the revised Mining Code promulgated by Royal Decree No. M/21 of 20/5/1392 H. (1973).

REGISTRATION OF MEDICINES AND PHARMACEUTICALS

Under the existing regulations medicines and pharmaceutical products are not admitted to the Kingdom unless a prior registration is made with the Ministry of Health.

 The applications supported by the required certificates duly legalized by a Saudi Arabian Consulate in the applicant's country are examined and the samples analyzed by the Ministry of Health to ensure that the samples correspond to the specifications. If the Ministry is satisfied with the results, a license is issued.
