Saudi Arabia Freeze Funds of 66 individuals on U.S. List
WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 — Saudi Arabia has ordered a freeze on the
assets of people and organizations that the United States has identified as
sponsors of terrorism, Bush administration officials said today.
President Bush has been saying for weeks that Saudi officials
were cooperating in the fight against terrorism, and his aides have often
repeated a statement that Saudi Arabia has "done everything we've asked them to
do" to help combat Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
