on Offer to Consumers at Comdex Saudi Arabia 2001 Computer Shopper Event
Latest PCs, Notebooks to be discounted for Annual Buying Spree in Jeddah

Acer
Computer (M.E.) Ltd. has announced several special offers for visitors
attending the Comdex Computer Shopper event taking place in
Jeddah, from the 16th to the 19th of April.
The special Comdex Shopper package includes irresistible offers
on Acer's latest products, from entry-level, consumer PC's to high-end,
executive notebook computers. In
addition, the computing giant will provide buyers with unique
"bundling offers," where core products and related peripheral
products are sold together at reduced prices.
The
special offers will be made available through Acer's officially
authorized reseller for the Saudi market,
AlAlamiah Electronics and its distributors.
Commenting
on the immense popularity of Acer products at the Comdex Jeddah 2001
Computer Shopper event, Mr. Bsem Ewiwi, Acer's Regional Manager said,
“We are delighted to be working with our partners to offer the Saudi
public the very best in computing technology.
Acer's award-winning lines of multimedia PCs and notebooks speak
for themselves, and at discounted prices, we expect to sell record
numbers of products."
Products
available at the Shopper section of the Comdex exhibition include Acer's
newest range of Aspires which will come loaded with the latest Microsoft
Windows Operating System. Over the years, the Aspires have acquired a
near-generic status in the home segment. This latest generation of
Aspires promises to underline their market leading position in the
Kingdom.
"Our
customers demand the latest technology on the market," said Mr.
Hafez Talaat of AlAlamiah Electronics, one of Acer's resellers and the
largest exhibitor at the Shopper section of this annual IT extravaganza.
"The Comdex Jeddah 2001 Computer Shopper allows us to
provide these technologies direct to the Saudi public, and in product
