Associates (CA) today announced that it has been named “Best Enterprise Security
Solutions Provider” in the prestigious Middle East IT Awards. CA was recognized
for the success of its world-class eTrust family of security solutions and
services, and for its achievements in the Middle East enterprise marketplace.
CA was initially nominated for the award in an online poll of IT and higher
education professionals, making the final shortlist of security solutions
providers because of its popularity in the region. Companies on this shortlist
were then carefully judged by an independent panel, who examined their
performance across a range of criteria, including innovation and research, speed
of response to new security threats, infrastructure protection and service
standards. After an exhaustive evaluation, CA emerged as the clear winner.

officers with the most comprehensive and effective line of enterprise-strength
security products in the industry,” said Dan van der Westhuizen, regional
manager of Computer Associates Africa and Middle East, while collecting the

The security solutions sector in the Middle East has become highly competitive
in recent years and demands high standards in products and services. Computer
Associates – Middle East (CA-ME) has performed strongly in the sector, building
