Xerox
Corporation, the US$18.6 billion global document management company, is
to launch DocuCruise, an innovative initiative to reach its customers in
the region by sea with the latest products and solutions. The DocuCruise
will arrive in Dammam on April 21, 2001.
This
novel cruise will enable The Document Company to showcase its latest
products and solutions to customers in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi
Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Iran over a four-week period.
The
three-deck Xerox cruiser commenced its Gulf-wide tour from Dubai on
April 7, 2001, from where it went on to Kuwait (April 14–16). From
Kuwait, it will travel to Manama, Bahrain (April 17-19), Dammam, Saudi
Arabia (April 21-22), Doha, Qatar (April 24–26), Muscat, Oman (April
29 – May 1) and Kish Island, Iran (May 4-6).

Top
Xerox officials, technology specialists and local business partners from
the region and abroad will welcome guests onboard the cruiser and
demonstrate cutting-edge Xerox solutions, which include, the Xerox
DocuTech 6135 production publisher, which will print English and Arabic
books for guests on-demand and the brand new DocuColor 2060, which has
won rave reviews across the world.
Xerox
document solutions will be displayed and demonstrated on all three decks
of the luxury cruiser. Apart from the DocuColor 2060 and DocuTech 6135
production publishers, there will be several other electronic Xerox
office solutions on display – both colour and black-and-white.
