Customer Success Stories Are Highlights of INTERSHOP Stand.
Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia
INTERSHOP,
a leading provider of e-business software, will launch for the first
time on the Middle East its new set of industry-specific solutions,
including software tailored specifically for the financial services,
retail and telecommunications sectors, for senior decision-makers at the
E-Commerce Saudi Arabia 2001 exhibition, scheduled for 7 – 10 May in
Riyadh.
At
the four-day event, INTERSHOP will conduct demonstrations of its
Internet-based solutions, which organizations in the Middle East will
deploy as an e-business platform of choice.
In addition to hands-on displays, INTERSHOP will highlight for
attendees both regional and global success stories to demonstrate how
organizations in the public and private sectors are working with
INTERSHOP to develop new sales channels and achieve greater
profitability.
The
new INTERSHOP e-business solutions consist of powerful business
components that run on the acclaimed Intershop Enfinity™ e-commerce
platform. INTERSHOP anticipates that these offerings will enable
enterprises throughout Saudi Arabia and the Middle East to optimize
profit margins and strengthen key business relationships.
“The
E-Commerce Saudi Arabia exhibition is the ideal showcase to introduce
INTERSHOP’s new range of e-business solutions, as we are experiencing
fast-growing customer demand for a flexible e-commerce platform and
rich, packaged business functionality that will quickly and effectively
solve business challenges for organizations throughout the Middle
East,” noted Basel Tutunji, Basel Tutunji, INTERSHOP’s MENA sales
director.
Tutunji
added, “The industries in Saudi Arabia and around the entire region
that are most rapidly adopting e-business are those with a strong
customer focus and emphasis on new products and services, including
banking, retail, manufacturing, telecoms, Internet service provision
(ISP), and applications service provision (ASP).
INTERSHOP plans to provide these industries and others with the
tools they need to create a viable and profitable e-business
strategy.”
Industry
experts have welcomed Intershop’s new business-to-business and
business-to-consumer solutions.
"With its new offerings, Intershop is extending its product
portfolio to include e-business solutions for specific industries,"
said Thomas Hantusch, alliance manager, KPMG Consulting GmbH.
"Building on Intershop Enfinity, the components form the ideal
e-business platform, especially for B2B deployments. A key benefit is
the ability to implement complex requirements within a tight timeframe.
With these new solutions, Intershop has become one of the first
e-business providers to meet the general market requirement for
comprehensive, industry-specific solutions, instead of just
technology."
The
INTERSHOP solutions will benefit businesses, regardless of market or
industry, by enabling them to leverage existing investments in
technology and people and improve relationships with suppliers, partners
and customers. The result is a powerful e-commerce platform with
flexible components that address a company's specific business needs,
while offering a quicker return on investment.
Visitors
to E-Commerce Saudi Arabia 2001 exhibition can witness INTERSHOP’s new
solutions at Stand # 204.
