Computer Associates Launches Two New Versions of
JAVA-based Tools for Middle East Application Developers

Managed E-Business Solutions Enable Regional Developers to Rapidly Build and Integrate Mission-Critical Web/Enterprise Java Beans Applications

Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME), today announced the launch of two new, powerful solutions for e-business information management that enable organizations in the region to quickly build and integrate mission-critical Web/Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) applications.

The latest versions of COOL:Gen 6.0 eBusiness Edition, the advanced application development tool, and COOL:Joe 2.0 for Enterprise Java, the comprehensive J2EE/EJB development environment, enable companies to deliver Java applications on an enterprise scale and to transform mainframe and UNIX applications to large-scale Web solutions that are leveraged on proven technology. 

COOL:Gen and COOL:Joe are key components of CA's eBusiness Transformation and Integration portfolio, which provides the application and deployment services necessary to integrate disparate applications, databases and business partner systems.  Organizations from sectors around the Middle East – including those in banking and finance, oil and gas, and communications – have implemented this CA portfolio.

 E-business enhancements in COOL:Gen 6.0, along with its integrated modeling environment and 100 percent automatic code generation, enable development teams to take advantage of new technology without requiring additional investments in time and money.
